The bartender showed up more than an hour late (after the party had begun) so I was scrambling to cut limes, set up the bar and make drinks for early guests. There were no apologies, no explanations. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but her inability to wear a smile and the anxious moments brought by her later arrival lead to the low score

Shameka was definitely pertinent to making my party a success. She arrived early and was eager to get started on prepping the food and dishes. I could tell she had experience right away because once I told her the horderves we had she pretty much took control of how to prep, display, and serve them. I didn't have to give her much direction through the evening however she did check in with me whenever the dishes were transitioning to make sure I was happy with the timing of everything which I liked. She also stayed a little longer after the party to help clean and organize. She's a gem to have for an event.
